On March 29, 2012, the Player's Bench Music Store hosted a Taylor Road Show. The evening was filled with guitar talk from Taylor product specialist Mike Ausman and Grammy Award winning guitarist Wayne Johnson. They discussed construction using domestic and exotic wood selections. They went over various building techniques and discussed how size, shape and finish can affect guitar sound. The floor was then open to questions and answers and the crowd got to pickup and play the latest Taylor models. A special thanks to all that attended. (over 100+)
Standing room only! We had another amazing turnout for our Fall Showcase on November 20th at Duke's Alehouse & Kitchen in downtown Crystal Lake. We had 18 very talented young rockers take the stage with instruction from our wonderful teachers Bill Sonoda & Bruce Waters. Fun was had by all!
Our 20th Annual Halloween Sale was a great success! It was held on Thursday, October 27th from 5pm to 10pm. Customers stood in line for hours enduring the fall brisk weather and light rain. They braved it all to take advantage of our amazing discounts! The Player's Bench staff and most of the customers were dressed up in Halloween Costumes which added to the festivities. A great time was had by all!
